Marietjie's Flowers

Now generally when people want things from me, they order jewelry or something crocheted – like a bunny or beanie.

Marietjie wanted 26 crochet roses. It is the BIGGEST order I've ever done and I had SO much fun doing it!! It was like seeing spring come alive and I adore all the colours that we decided to use:

3 Kinds of Blues:

2 Kinds of Purple:

The light purple (right) is the same purple I used for this bunny.

2 Kinds of Green:

2 Kinds of Grey:

Ferrari Red:

This was the hardest for me to photograph and appears more blue hued than it really is.

Bright Sunshine Yellow:

Bright Pink:

Peach:

What the BACKS of the flowers look like:

They needed to be flat because Marietjie is going to sew them onto pieces herself.

 

This was a massive project to be involved in and I cannot wait for Marietjie to receive them! Thank you for the support M and for choosing ME to do your roses for you.
