Daisies for Summer

In South Africa it is summer here and one of the coolest flowers that you can see around here (anywhere) is daisies. Well that's when the heat hasn't killed them all! But not the point!

Beaded daisy bracelet

This is a daisy bracelet and I must admit it sits a bit loose on the wrist and that's why the others I make actually have the more appropriate extenders on.

Beads used: green (stems), white (petals) and yellow (stigma)

Beaded daisy bracelet with a 5cm extender

This is a better bracelet of what I mean above (having the extender on the bracelet). This is a continuous daisy chain – without the stems.

Beads used: black (petals) and yellow (stigma). There is a 5 cm extender on this bracelet.

Beaded Anklet with 5cm extenderClose up of the anklet

The daisy chains make very pretty anklets as well! I included a close up of what the daisies look like as well!!

Beads used: black (petals), yellow and orange (stigma). There is ALSO a 5cm extender on this anklet.

ANY colour you can imagine and I can do a pretty little daisy chain for you, with OR without stems!

Yolande – Reducing, reusing, recycling old jewelry

The necklace out of two bracelets The necklace out of two bracelets

Believe it or not, this was actually two bracelets, and  changed it into a necklace.

It's very African-y and quite stylish if I say so myself. She gave me two pretty bulky bracelets and I used most (except one of the bracelet beads) for this.

The Anklet

Ok this was a bracelet and I made an anklet..

I think it came out EXTREMELY stunning.

There you can see I'm modeling it.

It's just a range of different blue beads and then tiny pink beads to break the blue.
