You know I never actually know whether to call this type of beading threading or weaving because technically I use a needle and this type of thread that's clear but looks nearly like fishing line. It's used for threading though.
Anyways let me show you the yummy bracelets I've made but forgot to upload yesterday!
RUSSIAN SNAKE BRACELETS:
For this bracelet I used matte brown seed beads as well as clear silver seed beads. The beads in the middle of the two colour are red beads I've had for years but never used.
I love the effect the matte seed beads give to this bracelet. It's vampy.
This was a custom order for a wedding that I used oil slick blue and clear seed beads. The beads in between the two colours are these clear glass beads with splashes of blue and pink or blue and green on them. @parastar got them for me for my birthday last year! I love how this one sparkles.
PURPLE HAZE VARIATION 1:
The pattern for this bracelet is called "Purple Haze" and I got the pattern from Around The Beading Table but this is my own variation of the pattern, using my own colours.
I used clear diamond beads with 2 black beads for the center of the wrist and then the blue oil slick beads.
PURPLE HAZE VARIATION 2:
Here I followed the "Purple Haze" pattern but entirely used silver seed beads for it and for the corners of the wrist used pearly, white seed beads.
I made it's own toggle clasp from a pattern I found on My Amari using the same silver seed beads.
It took me ages to do but I love the feel of this bracelet and how delicate it looks. It's subtle but still stands out! Thinking about it, this design would make a stunning CHOKER as well!
